The train departed and I sat near a pillar, weeping.
The fact of life is that change is inevitable, but we still need to carry on with the way it’s moving.
“Change is the only constant thing in life.“ – Heraclitus
It’s been five months now. Many things have changed. Few predicted, many unpredicted. Life is happening. Flying with the pace of an eagle. I feel changed. I am not the person anymore I used to be. I’ve grown. I’ve evolved. I’ve observed and I’ve learned. Meeting so many people, all from different backgrounds, holding different opinions about every other thing, certainly enhances the personality. Life has given me so much in mere a period of about five months, many overwhelming experiences, many exciting adventures. So many new faces in life and so many hearts that are now connected to me. A glimpse to the professional world, a knock of the reality. A sneak of how the future looks, and, a wind that blows against the time.
I will change my course somewhere midway my life and I will mock Destiny about it. I will choose the road not taken when I’ll be at that point where two roads diverged in the woods. And, when Destiny will try his best to force me choose the trodden path, I’ll betray, and will walk on the road less travelled by. And that will make all the difference.
It’s just a start. Life has lots in his pouch of surprises to mesmerise, shock and amuse at every nook and corner. Loads of crossroads to come and loads of not-so-playful decisions yet to make.
The woods are lovely, dark and sleep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
– Robert Frost
Life is a beautiful combination of the unpredictable future, the daunting present and, the haunting past. It’s time. Let’s get future started.
Growing up is always exiting and adventurous. We all are keen to know what our future holds, At this stage we get a sneak peak of the reality of the future in which we are craving to live. Though this sneak peak is the half truth about the reality still believing in this and hoping for the best we keep on learning and growing up. This post had lots of reference to poems we read in our childhood. It gave us a essense of the emotions thats stir up when we leave our good old people. Its is difficult to accept change but it is impossible to live without change.
